Every dataset that matters to the business deserves a named technical and business owner, plus a plain-language description — the same way a real product does.

"Trust the data" shouldn't be a slogan. Profiling, validation, and monitoring turn trust into a score you can track over time.

A clean dataset nobody uses hasn't solved anything. We measure success by whether employees actually find and use trusted data.

Your data never leaves your network
Pinnova installs entirely inside your firewall — no hosted service, no data telemetry, and licensing enforced locally with no outbound call to Pinnova. Schemas, samples, and connection details never leave your network. HTTPS, security headers, environment-scoped credentials, role-based access control, and a health endpoint ship on day one. Optional Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on lets employees use the account they already have, with requests to join a functional group routed to that group's approver. An optional single-domain restriction keeps every sign-in, local or Entra, inside your organization.

What happens if Pinnova is unreachable — or gone
Buyers of on-premises software ask this first, so here is the answer in writing. Your installation never depends on us being online, and your subscription never ends in a cliff.
It runs without us
Pinnova BDS runs inside your network and makes no outbound call to Pinnova — not for licensing, updates, or telemetry. Your license is a signed certificate verified locally against a key built into the product. If www.pinnova.com is down, or Pinnova is gone tomorrow, every installation keeps profiling, validating, and reporting as it does today. Fully air-gapped deployments are supported.
A 30-day grace period, never a cliff
If a subscription lapses, nothing stops. For 30 days everything keeps working; the only change is a renewal banner. After that, data-product profiling and validation pause until you renew — reporting, dashboards, connectivity, and entity-level profiling still run, and nothing is deleted. Re-activating restores everything instantly.
Source-code escrow on annual Enterprise
Annual Enterprise subscribers can request source-code escrow: the product source is deposited with an independent escrow agent and released to you if Pinnova ceases operations or stops maintaining the product. Ask hello@pinnova.com and we will add it to your agreement.
Support you can plan around
Every customer gets the product documentation and in-app guidance. Enterprise subscribers also get the support assistant on their account dashboard around the clock, and email support at quality@pinnova.com with a first response by the next business day. One click in Admin > Summary builds a support bundle — version, drivers, settings, and log tails with secrets redacted — so the first reply starts from the facts.
Your data, your exit
No proprietary lock-in. Configuration exports as plain CSV, run history sits in a standard SQLite database on your own server, and validation results are CSV files any tool can read. Cancel any time from your account page; your installation and everything it produced stay with you.
