Licensing is enforced entirely inside your own install, with no outbound call to Pinnova of any kind — a signed license key, activated for one specific installation from your account page and pasted into Admin > Properties > Licensing, sets your licensed data-product count locally. Register more data products than that and Pinnova blocks data product profiling and validation on that install immediately, until you upgrade or bring the count back in line — everything else keeps working. Team and Enterprise subscribers can activate their license, view their key, and manage billing any time by logging in.
What you'll need before you install
Pinnova ships as a single Windows executable, or as a container image for Linux hosts. A few native database drivers are distributed by their vendors and aren't bundled with the installer.
