Pinnova installs on a Windows host you control, or runs as a Linux container. Profiling, validation, and reconciliation run locally against your own SAP HANA, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks, DB2, SAP Business Data Cloud, or SAP BW connections — your data never leaves your network.

What you'll need before you install

Pinnova ships as a single Windows executable, or as a container image for Linux hosts. Some native database drivers come from their vendors and aren't bundled.

Windows Server 2016+ or Windows 10/11
64-bit host, 500 MB free disk space minimum
Native driver for your source platform
SAP HANA Client, Microsoft ODBC Driver, Oracle Instant Client, or the equivalent for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, or DB2 — install from the vendor for each platform you connect to. SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP BW need no driver: they are reached over their REST / OData APIs
HTTPS on port 443 in server mode
The Windows install serves its web UI through a bundled Caddy reverse proxy with its own local certificate authority. The installer adds the inbound firewall rule; LAN clients trust the local root certificate.
Linux? Use the container image
The same product ships as ghcr.io/pinnova/bds, run with Docker Compose — see the production guide included with your download.
No outbound access required for licensing
Licensing is enforced inside your install — nothing is sent to Pinnova to check it.

Check your email for your download link — it works for 24 hours. If it doesn't show up, email us directly at hello@pinnova.com.
